Adam Carpenter

Adam Carpenter is a seasoned music business owner and serial entrepreneur based in Dallas, Texas. In 2011, he founded the groundbreaking Watershed Music Group®, which pioneered and reimagined opportunities for creators and independent rights holders in the modern music era.

Adam’s passion for copyright, music publishing, production, and business began in childhood and flourished during his college years at Christ For the Nations Institute and Dallas Baptist University. As a musician, he was at the heart of a defining musical moment in DFW, which ushered in a modern era of Christian music alongside artists like Klaus, Kari Jobe, Rick Pino, Gateway Worship, and Rachel Tuttle.

He spent many years traveling the world as the manager, musician, and singer alongside renowned worship leader Rick Pino. These experiences and rare successes for an independent artist provided a unique perspective and knowledge base, leading to Watershed’s formation.
