Terrence Scott is a worship leader and songwriter. He carries a deep hunger to see God’s people transformed into the image of Jesus, delivered, healed, and empowered by God’s presence.
Terrence was raised in deep east Texas by his grandparents who are long time pastors for over 50 years. While serving as the drummer, and later the keyboardist and organist, he began to develop his singing skills through leading praise and worship. After moving to Joplin, Missouri in 2006, on a football scholarship, Terrence began attending Joplin Family Worship Center where he still serves.
His first EP was released in 2015, called “Forever Free”, with the song “In Him” being sung in churches in the mid-west and southern parts of Texas. His second EP was released in 2019, called “More”, with the song “Same God” being the anthem of God’s faithfulness on the record. Terrence has been apart of Bethel Music’s Songwriting Retreat and Israel Houghton’s Worship Academy, to name a few.
Terrence prioritizes time with his wife Amber and son, Zion. He is an avid golfer and loves to watch sports in his spare time and seeks to find inspiration in the simple pleasures of life. He continues to travel regionally and serve at his local church using his God-given gift to lift up Jesus and serve humanity.
